The reporter will see stories in the data, and know how to tell those stories through visuals, text, audio and/or another appropriate medium. Content produced will include graphics, images and narratives for web as well as audio stories for broadcast. This position will be more equitable among digital, social and broadcast platforms than anything we currently have. Duties: Pitches and generates original story ideas based on data; Produces daily and long-term content for all distribution channels; Produces stories on deadline; Produces content from the field when necessary; Contributes to WLRN public affairs programs; Continues to hone beats and build sources; Participates in live and online events and special appearances; Participates in staff meetings; Participates in professional development opportunities; Other duties as assignedApply
